Young players will quickly grow out of their hockey gear and it can get pretty expensive buying new hockey gear year after year.  The Los Alamos Hockey Association has a great selection of hockey gear that you can rent for the season. 

It is recommended, players own their skates so they can skate whenever they would like to in the off-season.  Skates fit differently from brand to brand and player to player.   Shopping around for the best fit instead of just taking what's available is a good way to make a more enjoyable season.

LAHA has a limited numbers for rent: skates, jerseys, socks, and equipment bags. Depending on availability these items may not be available for loan.
